Turn Your Gamer Into A Creator
Campers build a video game from start to finish with the help of a professional GameSalad teacher. Publish the complete games online and share the link for family and friends to play.
- Structured Weeklong Session. Choose the challenge level that’s right for your camper. Students who are already familiar with GameSalad can jump into the Advanced course.
- Learn & Create. Campers may be surprised they are learning computer science foundations as they build their customized video games.
- Byte-sized Schedule. Campers receive 90 minutes of live instruction every day Monday – Friday to spur their creativity and create a playable video game by the end of the week.
- Your Unique Creation. Create a game that’s concise, or elaborate! Import custom graphics and sounds. Our instructors guide Campers from design to the finished product. Motivated Campers can begin work on a second game within the week!
- Great Minds! Enjoy learning with a cohort of like-minded aspiring video game creators! Build camaraderie online in a classroom setting.
Level Up All Year Long!
All campers get a one-year GameSalad for Home Education license, unlocking even more online tutorials for building different types of games.
With working games in their GameSalad portfolio, their summer of game creation is up and running.
Campers can use the foundations and tips they’ve learned to leverage the GameSalad platform for rapid game creation and keep building unique games all summer long!

Choose A Course
- 1-Week Game Creation Camps are currently enrolling for Summer 2021.
- Sign up for the Introductory and/or Advanced Course.
- Younger campers and those new to GameSalad are encouraged to complete the Introductory course, then take the Advanced course anytime after.
- Campers receive 90 minutes of live Zoom instruction for 5 consecutive days, Monday – Friday, including a game celebration with the class on Friday.
- Reliable internet connection and a computer running Chrome (or a Chromebook) are required.
- GameSalad Certified Instructors will teach campers how to use the platform for rapid game development, spur their creativity and assist in their creation of a working video game by week’s end!
